EN4M is a membership organisation made up of groups and organisations which contribute to its ongoing development. The work of the network is supported by a coordinator and a support group elected from network members. The objectives of the network are to: Build capacity through strengthening the ability of environmental groups in Manchester to carry out their work. Representinfluence through giving a louder and more legitimate voice to environmental groups influencing public sector activities in Manchester. Networkbuild partnership by facilitating joint working and the sharing of skills, information and resources by members. Raise awareness of environmental issues to the general public. Provide information by acting as central point of access to information and advice and to actively research, collect and distribute information regarding environmental groups and initiatives, including consultations and policy documents. All our members are actively committed to the principles of sustainable development, and are working for the benefit of Manchester.
