Allotments offer a means to enjoy outdoor living and the satisfaction of growing your own food. Plotholders are usually friendly types always willing to lend a hand and offer advice. This website is provided by The Association of Manchester Allotment Societies to help you find an allotment and enjoy it. AMAS was consituted in 1993. It acts as a means of support to the cities local allotment and horticultural societies. AMAS is a district federation of the National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners. AMAS also helps organise the Annual Allotments Competition and Presentation Evening.
