The website was established in September 1999 and was Manchester’s first ever, comprehensive and regular online music review publication. It is now the regions and one of the UK’s, largest music only review website. Musicdash ManchesterMusic is a registered nonprofit limited company, run by volunteers and a host of contributors who freely give their time and to whom we are eternally grateful. The website is currently, entirely self funded, with any income generated by our activities, reinvested directly back to the group, without any remuneration made to its Directors. The organisation has been established on a brief of cooperation and direct proactive involvement with the local music scene and emerging creative industries. The site has been supported by the Manchester City Music Network and The Performing Right Society Foundation we would like to acknowledge their proactive and unconditional support. The website supports the Campaign Against Living Miserably CALM and Love Music Hate Racism, amongst many other good things.
